Gloworm Festival is one of the most well loved fixtures in Nottingham's summer calendar - a dedicated family event that each year welcomes 20,000 visitors to Thoresby Park, in the heart of Nottinghamshire. With their most jam-packed line-up yet recently unveiled, we've provided you with some highlights at this year's instalment.

From 8 - 10 August 2025, Gloworm Festival will once again bring a wide assortment of names from family entertainment, activities, characters, and experiences to Thoresby Park, at the heart of Nottinghamshire.
As part of the Bedtime Stories line-up, featured at the CBeebies Bedtime Story Tent, star Blue Peter presenter Abby Cook will be leading a story session for little ones, accompanied on the line-up by Jon McClure: frontman of Reverend and the Makers, Gladiator Comet, and well-established panto performer Mama G.
Some of the family-favourite characters who will be present, at the festival, for meet-and-greets with kids, plus stage appearances include Bluey, Hey Duggee, Supertato, and Bing Bunny. Meanwhile, East Midlands radio duo Jo & Sparky will maintain their connection to Gloworm Festival with Sparky lined up to DJ at the Playmobil Rave. This announcement arrives as the duo launch their new podcast, which is sponsored by Gloworm Festival.
Moreover, there's plenty of activities, play areas, and creative environments for families and kids of all preferences to enjoy. For the adventurous - Mythic Adventures is a new area filled with dragons, immersive shows, crafts, and a sensory space. For the sportier - Goalie Wars will provide a fast paced, mini tournament for aspiring goalkeepers, plus an opportunity to meet ex-Premier League goalkeeper Scott Loach. A new addition to the available activities, meanwhile, is the Sea Creature Club, created by Gloworm HQ's Oliver, age 7, offering arts, crafts, and an ocean themed fancy dress competition.
Other zones available for families to explore are Happy's Circus, the Actual Reality Arcade, Into the Woods, and many more.
Gloworm’s inclusive ticketing means entertainment, shows, activities and fairground rides (until 5pm) are all included, allowing families to relax and enjoy the weekend without extra costs, with free entry for children under the age of 2. Tickets also include a camping pitch in Thoresby Park - onsite camping and glamping options include the award nominated toilets and even more showers this year as well as accessible toilets on both the camping area and main site.
