INN Robin Hood Adventure Trail

The Robin Hood Adventure Trail, facilitated by It’s In Nottingham, is back again this summer, and continues to be a great option for parents seeking fun, relaxing activities for their little ones. Participants are invited to grab a free map from venues participating, and are challenged to find 11 Robin Hood-related characters around the city centre – collecting letters necessary for cracking a code. After doing so you can claim an award at Nottingham Castle. A list of participating venues can be found at itsinnottingham.com.

Richard O’ Brien’s cult classic Rocky Horror Show is coming to Nottingham after its sold-out Australian Tour in 2024. Starring Australian star Jason Donovan, the rock n’ roll musical loved by many tells the story of a newly engaged couple encountering a stormy situation and stumbling across Frank-N-Furter, as a transsexual doctor intent on creating the perfect muscle man 'with blond hair and tan'. An adventurous musical filled with science fiction, horror and humour. Dress up encouraged!

The Royston Club Live + Signing

The Indie band of four, the Royston Club began their journey in 2019 with Shawshank, and now they are touring with their new album ‘Songs for the spine.’ Often compared to bands like Stoke and Arctic Monkeys, the Wrexham band brings in the essence of 2000s indie rock. One of the tracks from their latest album Cariad, captures a more delicate and tender charm of the band. Cariad is a Welsh term that means love or darling. The bittersweet track on love and loss gives the fans a new indie anthem.

Got an interest in creating a timeless and sustainable collection? Newark International Antique & collectors fair brings to you the ultimate antiquarians treasure trove. Newark International Antiques holds the title for being the largest antique event in Europe. From antique furniture, toys, vinyl's to a collection of vintage clothing are some of the few items that are popularly seen at the event.

Lucas Walters, Jack Benjamin, and Jamie Sykes are bringing a jazzical night to Nottingham. A refreshing evening with live music and three-course meal. The night seems promising for anyone who is looking for an immersive jazz experience paired with delicious food.

Cherishing the essence of 80s music Nottingham celebrates its first silent disco on the grounds of Nottingham castle. The event will be from 7pm to 10pm on Sat 9 Aug. The event is organised by Silent Disco in Incredible Places. With the 80s theme, the disco will be led by at least three DJs with your favourite 80s tune illuminated with lights. There will be an option to select between three different channels of music while silent disco headphones.

Birthday Crafts - Celebrating 50 years of Notts LGBT+ Network

Notts LGBTQ+ is celebrating their 50th anniversary with a crafty touch. For their 50th anniversary, the charity is hosting a birthday craft session that includes making birthday cards, decorating party hats and others. All individuals are welcome to join the celebration with the materials of their choice or else all the necessary materials for the craft session will be provided at the venue. Notts LGBTQ+ has been supporting the LGBT community in Nottinghamshire since 1975.

Maggie Baugh, the US country music artist is coming to Nottingham with her latest album Entertainers Heart. Known to captivate fans and audiences from dive bars and other iconic venues, Maggie's live shows and tours are known to give a memorable experience. The latest album is self-produced by Maggie herself and has a raw personal touch. The title of the track is inspired by the artist herself who likes to be known as an ‘entertainer’ rather than a musician.

A pretty immersive and memorable experience is set to hit Motorpoint Arena this month for young ones and their parents. Paw Patrol, the hit Canadian animated TV series for pre-schoolers, is going live and onstage in the UK. This particular stage show sees protagonist Ryder undergo a pirate themed adventure with his team of pups to uncover hidden treasure. Reviews have highlighted the fun, impressive staging and costuming, and energetic music, so for an evening out to treat your kids this will be ideal.

The English soul singer will be in town this weekend performing live. The two-time Brit Award nominated singer is now touring with his new album Unstoppable. If I Can’t Have You, a single from the album is out and it transcends the beauty of Kenny’s soul music and its various layers. The new album in a sense is a way of Kenny re-establishing himself back in his musical career.
