Trentbarton has announced its bus services for Christmas 2025 and over the New Year. Here's everything you need to know about how to get around on their network over the festive period...
Tom Morgan, managing director at trentbarton, said: “We’re gearing up for a busy December and beyond, helping our customers get where they need to be whether that is for shopping, visiting family, meeting friends or simply enjoying Christmas. It’s a real honour to be there for our customers as the excitement builds towards the big day and then onwards to New Year’s Eve. We offer a warm welcome and a safe ride home with lots of buses on the road this festive period.”
The season’s changes begin on Monday 22 December and Tuesday 23 December with a Saturday service on most routes. A Monday timetable will run on both days on 90, skylink Derby, skylink Nottingham and skylink express. And a Monday night service will run on both days on indigo, red arrow, the sixes, Xprss38 and the calverton.
On Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24 th , a Saturday service will run until early evening on all routes except for 90, skylink Derby, skylink Nottingham and skylink express which will have a normal Wednesday timetable until the early evening.

There will be no services on Christmas Day. On Boxing Day, Friday 26 December, only skylink Nottingham and skylink Derby will be running, with a Sunday service.
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 December will be see a normal weekend timetable on all routes, complete with Saturday nightbuses.
On Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 December there will be a Saturday timetable until midnight on all routes. The exceptions are a normal Monday service on both days on 90 and a Monday night service on both days on indigo, red arrow, the sixes, Xprss38 and the calverton.
New Year’s Eve on Wednesday 31 December will see a Saturday service across the network with last departures around 8pm. Special timetables will then operate on services which have Saturday night buses, except on the cotgrave. 90 will see a normal Wednesday timetable.

There are no services on New Year’s Day. On Friday 2 nd January there will be a Saturday timetable on all routes except for a Monday night timetable on the sixes, Xprss38 and the calverton. A normal Friday service runs on 90, skylink Derby, skylink Nottingham and skylink express.
