St. Patrick's Day 

When: Tue 17 March
Where: Old Market Square
How much: Free

Recognising Irish tradition and community, Market Square welcomes back its annual celebration of St. Paddy's, through a range of on-stage live music, dance and burst of Irish culture. We expect to see lots of tall green hats, Irish flags, and of course, plenty of face paint. Get your family and friends to dress the part, come along and enjoy.

Battle of the Bands

When: Wed 18 March
Where: Metronome
How much: Free (pre-booking required)

Enjoy a range of rock, indie, and alternative bands from Nottingham Trent University as they compete for prizes on-stage, judged by industry professionals. Join us to recognise and celebrate the students of our city and their talents, in an epic old-school battle of the bands.

Diversity SOUL

Where: Theatre Royal

The UK dance group, winners of the third series of Britain's Got Talent, bring their 2026 tour SOUL to Nottingham, with an all-new concept. The tour explores technological advancement, AI and being human in today's digital age, all through expressive and explosive street dance.

asses.masses Digital Experience

When: Sat 21 March
Where: Broadway Cinema
How much: Full price £20, concession £15

Directed by Milton Lim and Patrick Blenkarn, asses.masses allows audience members to take turns in playing a video game start to end. The story explores a herd of unemployed donkeys in efforts to get their jobs back, navigating a post-industrial society. It's certainly a niche one, but if you're a fan of video games and live experiences (or donkeys), then it's definitely for you.

Seas of Mirth

Playing with supporting bands Ask My Bull and Zopp, Seas of Mirth are high-energy, exploring their own combination genre of dance, disco funk and more. The group uses visual elements to create an unforgettable, festival-ready live performance, with LED sea creatures on stage and a vibrant, flamboyant atmosphere.

Niche Artefact: Digital Realms

When: Sun 22 March
Where: Revolución de Cuba
How much: £13.75

Niche Artefact celebrates creativity, art and LGBTQIA+ with its new exhibit: Digital Realms. Diving into themes of technology and the future, the exhibit will be their thirteenth showcase, with appearances from various drag queens, vocalists, burlesque artists and other performers. The organisation always promises a glamorous evening of entertainment, and this one won't fall short of that.
