Nottingham Restaurant Week is back this month; for not one but two weeks (running Mon 1 - Sat 14 June). It’s a celebration of local food outlets with plenty of excellent deals, ranging from £10-£30, at restaurants across the city centre to entice you to try somewhere new. This year over 65 different venues are involved ranging from independent gems to big-name favourites. Here’s everything you need to know…

This fortnight-long event is facilitated by It’s In Nottingham – the city’s business improvement district. On offer there will be three-course meals for £25, lunchtime deals that beat your usual sandwich, and the chance to try somewhere new without stretching your wallet. Exclusively for the fortnight you’ll find deals priced at £30, £25, £20, £15 and £10.

To view menus, see a full list of who’s taking part and book your table download the free It’s in Nottingham app (on Apple and Android). There will be plenty to enjoy, from veggie delights, savoury cuisines and menus for the sweet-toothed, plus lots of global foods as well. Whether you’re peckish for overloaded pancakes at The Pudding Pantry, fancy a £10 burger and drink under the neon-lit backdrop of Penny Lane or fancy two courses of savoury satisfaction from the Queen of Hockley, there’s something to please everyone.

Beyond that you could head to The Magic Garden to indulge in two tapas and a soft drink for £15, or go to Nottingham’s newest Irish bar, The Shamrock Social, for two courses of English and Irish comforting classics. There’s more to explore at the New York-inspired dive bar, The Blind Rabbit – for only £10 you can purchase a premium burger and a drink. But these are just a handful of many to explore.

There’s also the opportunity to book into Hidden Food Tours, which run over six days during the fortnight. These provide a great look at hidden gems around the city, for just £40. Join the Vegetarian Vibes tour for prize-winning burgers, vegan sushi, Mediterranean platters and hearty pub grub, whilst exploring the best plant-based dining Nottingham has to offer. Or, for a weekend of exciting breakfast alternatives, join the Brunch Crawl for Asian flavours and American favourites that will have you indulging in both the sweet and the spicy.

For a chance to win a £100 Nottingham Gift Card that can be spent in local shops, restaurants and bars, simply post your plate on the socials and tag both where you ate and @itsinnottingham, to be entered into the prize draw. You can also fill in a feedback form on the website, to give your honest opinion of your most loved and least favourite dishes through the weeks, for another chance to win a cash prize.

Nottingham Restaurant Week runs from Monday 1 June to Sunday 14 June at 65+ venues.
