From Gatsby’s clinking cocktails to the frozen plains of Frankenstein, join Spit the Pips for an afternoon of literary delights on the theme of ice, selected to refresh perspective, spark reflection and invigorate conversation. Expect some chilled shared reading, prompts to thaw discussion and a smattering of creative sensory surprise. All curious readers welcome; just bring yourself and your love of literature.
The session will take place in the Workshop (basement) of Malt Cross, accessed by the separate door next to the pub.
Spit the Pips is run by writers / creative educators Anna Ball and Daniel Cordle. Note that the workshop will include provided reading material and the learning style / environment is best suited to age 16+. There will be a break half-way through. We are keen to make your workshop experience as accessible and as inclusive as possible. Please feel free to email us with any learning access requirements, or questions about the workshop.
