Dennis Rollins MBE is a renowned British trombonist, celebrated for his electrifying stage presence, genre-blending style, and deep commitment to music education. With a career spanning collaborations with global icons like Jamiroquai, Maceo Parker, Blur, and Courtney Pine, Dennis brings both star power and musical excellence to any stage.
As a bandleader, his group Badbone & Co won the BBC Jazz Award for Best Band, and he has received multiple accolades including Trombonist of the Year and the Parliamentary Jazz Award for Jazz Education. His innovative Velocity Trio also earned the JazzYorkshire Best Band Award.
Dennis was awarded an MBE in 2018 for Services to Music and holds an Honorary Fellowship from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He’s also a sought-after educator, known for inspiring the next generation through workshops and university collaborations.
He has five critically acclaimed albums, a magnetic live performance style, and a proven track record of excellence.
