Club Onion #5: Eat Static/ Filter Sequence / Steve Hardaker / Indigo Herder

Twisted Onion promotions are buzzing to announce that the legendary Eat Static will be headlining Club Onion #5. 

Eat Static was formed in 1989 by psychedelic band Ozric Tentacles' Merv Pepler (drums) and Joie Hinton (keys) as a creative outlet for the diverse range of electronic music that the pair were writing. Originally an offshoot to Ozrics, by the early 90s the pair had left the band to concentrate on their sci-fi alien inspired soundscapes. Eat Static can legitimately claim to be one of the UK's first live techno outfits. Eat Static quickly developed a spectacular live show that included a huge light-show and a giant illuminated brain. A loyal following quickly formed and Eat Static became regulars at Glastonbury and The Megadog Events of the 90s. Over the last 35 years, Eat Static have played hundreds of gigs headlining festivals and shows around the world. 
Expect a synergy of sound and visuals as The Old Cold Store is transformed into the ultimate awakening of the senses. Part rave, part gig, Club Onion harks back to the halcyon days of the early 90s. In addition to Eat Static, Club Onion 5 features live performances from Filter Sequence, Steve Hardaker and a DJ set from Indigo Herder to take you on a cosmic voyage into the outer limits. Visuals and lighting by Metempsychosis meanwhile provide a visual experience like no other to further expand your consciousness.
